A Midlands UK based University is leading a project to develop an Indicator System that will inform the choice of Intelligent Building Technologies used especially for building refurbishments based on their corresponding sustainability value in terms of energy efficiency, cost reduction and user comfort. It is highly desirable that an indicator system that evaluates both Building Intelligence and Sustainability in existing buildings should be developed.
